This award is presented in honor of the founder of the Bob White Lodge, who was also a former Scout executive of the Georgia-Carolina Council.

The award is presented to only one youth and one adult of the Lodge each year. To receive the award a Lodge member must have at least three years of service in the Order of the Arrow, Multiple years in Scouting, and have served in a Lodge Leadership position.
