Lodge Activities |
General Lodge Meetings
General Lodge Meetings are held on the Sunday morning of the Spring Ordeal, Summer Fellowship, and Fall Ordeal. Lodge elections are held in the fall, and officers take office before the close of the meeting. The Lodge Chief may call additional General Lodge Meetings as the need arises. |
Lodge Executive Committee (LEC) Meetings
Lodge Executive Committee Meetings occur every other month and handle the business affairs of Bob White Lodge #87. All Lodge members are invited to attend but are not allowed to vote. |
Ordeals
Ordeals are held at Knox Scout Reservation biannually, in March and in September; all Brothers are encouraged to attend and render service to the Lodge and the camp. |
Lodge Leadership Development Event
The Lodge Leadership Development Event (LLDE) is usually held in the fall and is a daylong training session. All new Lodge Officers and Committee Chairman are expected to attend. All Lodge members are encouraged to attend. |
The Annual Banquet
The Annual Banquet is usually held on the same date as the Lodge Leadership Development Conference for the purpose of fellowship and recognition. Families and guests are encouraged to attend. Various awards are presented including the “Arrowman of the Year”, Spirit Award, J. Rucker Newbery Award, and Founders Award. |
Block Party
Block Party is the summer fellowship of the Bob White Lodge, and it is a weekend of fun and sun in late August that includes boating and grilling out,. |
Dixie Fellowship
Dixie is a weekend gathering of all the Lodges in SR-5 for the purpose of fellowship and competition. The location rotates among the Lodges and it is usually held the third weekend of April. Highlights are Section Officer Elections, “The Quest for the Golden Arrow”, competition in Regalia, Team Singing, Ceremonies, and Dance. All members are eligible to attend, subject to the Lodge quota |

National Leadership Seminar
National Leadership Seminar is an intense training put on in the span of a weekend. It is the only training that you are chosen to go to by the Lodge Chief and Adviser, and you may only attend once in your life. |
National Order of the Arrow Conference
National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is a semi-annual event in which thousands of Arrowmen from across the nation gather to spend a week of fellowship and learning related to the Order. |
