Sealing Your Membership |
|
Ten months after your induction into the Order, you are Eligible for the Brotherhood level of membership in the Order, which seals the commitment to the Order of the Arrow that began when you were elected by your peers. The process of moving from Ordeal to Brotherhood is a five step process. |
Step One: Recite the Obligation of the Order of the Arrow, the OA Song, the admonition, the sign of Ordeal membership, and the Arrowman handclasp. |
Step Two: Dedicate yourself to service in your unit; help them by working on improving their camping program. You must lead your unit by living the Scout Oath and Law. |
Step Three: Demonstrate service in the Lodge; keep your dues paid. Be aware that the Brotherhood is a commitment to service, but you must devote some of your efforts toward serving your Lodge. |
Step Four: Review your progress with a Nimat, an adviser for the Brotherhood process, to make sure you understand the meaning of steps one through four. |
Step Five: Complete the Brotherhood weekend with the Lodge. |

Becoming a Brotherhood member of the Order is sealing your membership; Brotherhood is the final phase of the inductions process |
